There were literal sparks flying during the reception of this wedding. After being postponed (twice) due to the ‘Rona, it was such a relief to get back into shooting weddings again. Beautiful couple, beautiful people, beautiful day. Easily one of the most gorgeous venues I’ve ever shot.

You know that thing where pregnant women have a “glow?” … Well, if the light is just right, you can aaalmost capture it. Look at that rim lighting! Uuuff…

Mexicans getting married means surprise mariachi band in your living room, amazing tacos on the front lawn, a parade of cousins throwing flower petals on you at the reception, and doing the limbo under the veil. Yes, it means all of those things. (And yes, Baby Shark is played by the mariachis and featured in the wedding video, of course).

We covered both video and photography for this wedding in Connecticut. Yes, the couple was cute, but the real stars were the puppers, of course!

Spring time is a great time to be in love.
Graduation is more about making your family and friends proud more than anything else. Congratulations Fidel and all of the Class of 2019!
Sometimes people need lots of coaching when getting their photo taken, and that’s ok. Not everyone is a model. But sometimes…….. you get somebody that’s just a natural and needs none of my help at alllllllll.
Ok, the celebrity name-combo thing is always a must for me, whenever possible… so…. Andressica! Let me know if it works or not. Anyway, this was a beautiful wedding. Sometimes, portrait sessions land right during golden hour, and sometimes, it’s amazing ;-)
For Chris & Lucy’s wedding, a second photographer meant two completely different perspectives.
Having a second shooter (especially for weddings, but not exclusively so) always leads to better results than a single shooter. Almost every time we discuss it our clients, they ask why adding the option is essential, so we figured writing about it would be helpful.
This was a cute small wedding between a couple that clearly loved each other. Vows, rings, amazing Cuban food, and cake. Sounds like an amazing night to me!
Lived 60 years on this earth, had three kids, led through the development of dozens of churches all over Latin America, served the poor, the sick, and the forgotten, grandfathered a buncha babies, and shared it all as a loving husband.
I’d say that’s worth a photo or two.

Most of the time, family photos with small children is literally about getting ONE good shot. No one wants to sit still, no one wants to smile when it’s time to smile, and attention spans are extremely limited. I’m not gonna say there was no Photoshop involved, because that would be a lie. I love a good challenge ;-)

Had the privilege of shooting this beautiful couple. Capturing stunning photos is easy when your subjects are stylish and good looking.

This was a truly a unique wedding, celebrated at the India House in NYC. If I had to summarize the vibe for this evening, I’d describe it as “relaxed elegance.” Everyone was so chill, yet everything was so beautiful. Jesse Fernandez and his 85mm are a force to be reckoned with.

Pro tip: There’s one product that works awesome on grass stains… Better than Tide or OxyClean.
It’s called Photoshop.
