There were literal sparks flying during the reception of this wedding. After being postponed (twice) due to the ‘Rona, it was such a relief to get back into shooting weddings again. Beautiful couple, beautiful people, beautiful day. Easily one of the most gorgeous venues I’ve ever shot.

I’ll never forget Nii’s red suit. The color POPPED. Tamir and the family will never forget this beautiful day!

Mexicans getting married means surprise mariachi band in your living room, amazing tacos on the front lawn, a parade of cousins throwing flower petals on you at the reception, and doing the limbo under the veil. Yes, it means all of those things. (And yes, Baby Shark is played by the mariachis and featured in the wedding video, of course).

We covered both video and photography for this wedding in Connecticut. Yes, the couple was cute, but the real stars were the puppers, of course!

Ok, the celebrity name-combo thing is always a must for me, whenever possible… so…. Andressica! Let me know if it works or not. Anyway, this was a beautiful wedding. Sometimes, portrait sessions land right during golden hour, and sometimes, it’s amazing ;-)
Having a second shooter (especially for weddings, but not exclusively so) always leads to better results than a single shooter. Almost every time we discuss it our clients, they ask why adding the option is essential, so we figured writing about it would be helpful.
This was a cute small wedding between a couple that clearly loved each other. Vows, rings, amazing Cuban food, and cake. Sounds like an amazing night to me!
This was a truly a unique wedding, celebrated at the India House in NYC. If I had to summarize the vibe for this evening, I’d describe it as “relaxed elegance.” Everyone was so chill, yet everything was so beautiful. Jesse Fernandez and his 85mm are a force to be reckoned with.

There was a kilt. What more can I say? Their last name is “Dunn.” Punn: intended!
You read that title correctly. This wedding involved swords. Lots of them. In fact, the groom and every groomsperson had a sword on their side (and one bridesperson carried a Sailor Moon scepter). This ain’t a game, folks. And yes, there was a beautifully choreographed sword fight between the bride + groom. With Jesse Fernandez on camera #2, there was no way we’d miss any shots.
Also, this has to be, by far, the best dancing I’ve ever seen on any wedding dance floor. 10/10.
For this wedding, we were on videography duty. We were able to capture beautiful drone shots of the amazing venue, and had so much fun with this couple. (But man, was it a hot day!)
Hector holds the record for most creative vows I've ever heard. Literally ended with a rap. If the pastor hadn't been holding the mic, Hector would've dropped it.

I can't really take credit for how beautifully this wedding was shot. The weather, the light, the fact that it all happened in February, was all an act of God. I shot the engagement photos of these cuties a few months ago, and we had no idea their wedding would be a coat-free day!

I got to shoot the engagement photos for these two, and I had so much fun doing that. The day finally came when these lovebirds would tie the knot, and I had the honor of capturing those moments (alongside the uber-talented Erico Rovayo doin the video thang). My buddy Jay Vasquez was the awesomest second shooter a photographer could ever have. Needless to say, it was a pretty sweet day.

Sometimes you get a couple that actually show affection towards eachother. I mean love, like the real kind, the kind that is visibly passionate, and photographs well. These two were like the couples you see when you buy a frame from the drugstore and there's a sample photo in it. Picturesque.
Eric was actually one of the groomsmen at my wedding. He's one of the coolest people I know, as is his wife, Nina. Their wedding was beautiful, the reception was incredibly fun, and it's awesome to have been able to share such a special day with them.
These two are like Nutella and bananas, awesome people individually, but even better together. Shooting their engagement photos was a ton of fun, I knew their wedding would also be a blast.
This was a beautiful day between beautiful people. Katie was especially stunning with the help of the hottest makeup artist on earth, Leah Fernandez. See her work here. This was a simple wedding, yet super full of love and laughter. The vows brought tears to even the biggest baddest dudes in the room. Not me, though. I'm too tough.
Makeup by Leah Fernandez
This was a special wedding... A couple that has been together for many years, but wanted to seal the deal the right way. Attending a wedding as just a guest is a luxury I don't always get to enjoy, but it wasn't stopping me from doing some shooting!
